It has all spoken audio which can be on-camera or voice over, and includes notes on intonation, stage directions for live action, descriptions of the shots, and notes on post-production visual effects or sound design.<\/li>\n<li>Story Board: \u00a0Also known as mood board \u2013 layout of video segments with annotations for VFX\/SFX -video cutaways -used in creating explainer \/ advertorial video. A visual roadmap for director or developer<\/li>\n<li>Creative Kickoff: 2nd meeting between client, production manager, messaging director and developer to present pencil sketch and story\/mood board and finalize production sequence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-794\" alt=\"5\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bgqatar.com\/en\/innovattive-cms\/uploads\/5.png\" width=\"974\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bgqatar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/5.png 974w, https:\/\/www.bgqatar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/5-300x92.png 300w, https:\/\/www.bgqatar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/5-400x123.png 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 974px) 100vw, 974px\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3>PRODUCTION:\u00a0 THE ACTUAL CREATION OF THE VIDEO IN LIVE-ACTION, ANIMATION OR MOTION GRAPHICS.<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Call Sheet: Scheduling tool for cast &amp; crew to know time and place for their role in the production. \u00a0Used in live action video shoots.<\/li>\n<li>Continuity: Succession of events to create a logical progression of the video.<\/li>\n<li>VFX: Short for visual effects. \u00a0Used to refer to on-screen graphics or compositing that either hides or enhances something.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0SFX: Short for sound effects.<\/li>\n<li>Green Screen: \u00a0Used in VFX video or photography where actor or object is recorded or photographed in front of a green screen. \u00a0The background is replaced in post production with other images.<\/li>\n<li>Live Action: Using live actors or real objects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-795\" alt=\"6\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bgqatar.com\/en\/innovattive-cms\/uploads\/6.png\" width=\"974\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bgqatar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/6.png 974w, https:\/\/www.bgqatar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/6-300x92.png 300w, https:\/\/www.bgqatar.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/6-400x123.png 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 974px) 100vw, 974px\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3>POST-PRODUCTION:\u00a0WHERE ALL THE ELEMENTS ARE EDITED TO CREATE THE FINAL VIDEO.<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>CGI: Computer-Generated Imagery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>After Effects\u00ae: Software by Adobe used for creating 2D &amp; 3D motion graphics and visual effects.<\/li>\n<li>Animation: Graphic technique used to create movement in inanimate objects, scenery or text.<\/li>\n<li>Content Integration: Advertorial \u2013 type of visual advertising woven into editorial content.<\/li>\n<li>Branded Entertainment: A version of content integration where the main focus of the video is to entertain, with a subtle reference or influence from the supporting brand.<\/li>\n<li>CTA: \u00a0Call to Action \u2013 landing page or end cap result<\/li>\n<li>Editing: Selecting and organizing footage to create a seamless narrative video.<\/li>\n<li>Mixing: Combining all sound elements; voice over, music, SFX, and timing into final sound track.<\/li>\n<li>Rough Cut: 1st version of completed video \u2013 subject to editing. Check for continuity and timing. This is a chance for everyone to see how things are shaping up and make sure the direction is what was intended.<\/li>\n<li>Spot: \u00a0Industry name for a commercial.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Overall, knowing these terms will greatly help you, your team, and the production company that you are working with.
